Dear Knitters...

We knew our sock knitters were a prolific group, but even we were surprised when 30 knitters brought in 88 pairs of socks and 39 orphans to Temptations Orphan Sock Nite on August 5. Prizes were given, gifts were raffled and a great time was had by all. With 15 pairs of beautiful hand knitted socks, Karin Wolff was our Grand Champion Sock Master. The competition was pretty stiff for Orphan Queen with 5 knitters each with 4 poor, lonely orphan socks, but in the end, Patty Walter won the title. Congratulations, ladies!

Tips & Techniques

Learn "insider" secrets to creating beautiful hand knit garments and accessories. Our Temptations staff will share methods, short cuts and special hints in these free special Clinic Classes. We're always looking for new topics to cover so if you have a special class request, let us know! Call to learn more about what we'll be working on in each class.

Twist and Shout

Cable holders have you in a bind? Feel like screaming when your cable fails? Don't fret, we can straighten you out, or at least your cable knitting. Our first fall clinic will feature the ins & outs of knitting cables.

Overcome your fear of short-row knitting in our newest class, The Geo Scarf. You'll learn the secrets to knitting short rows while you make this great looking scarf. It looks good as is but we love it felted (hides any mistakes, too). Class sizes are limited so sign up today!

Mystery Socks

Ready to put a little suspense in your life? Our Mystery Sock class reveals the pattern one round at a time. There is a bit of homework for this free class, so please stop in Temptations to get your assignment and to reserve your spot for this very fun class.
